Kailangan Ko Mag Ilicano Din?!?

Yooooo how's everyone doing!? This past week was kind of mentally draining, and a learning experience for sure but hard does not mean bad!!     Tuesday was goooood! I had a super awesome personal study about Ammon and King Lamoni. Even though I've read that story so many times before, I felt the spirit testifying to me that this really did happen. Ammons example to me of being bold when proclaiming the truth hit me hard. It made me think of Elder Holland when he said " put forth every effort to teach by power and authority.... We seldom teach with either power or authority! " He said this in an MTC devotional called "Missions Are Forever" It's so gooood! To all of you who are on missions, preparing for your mission, or even thinking about going on a mission, email me and I'll send it to you!     Wednesday was a pretty low key day. We had 3 or 4 lessons which went well but I felt like my Tagalog was struggliiiing. While I was doing my language stu...

Little Trip To Manila?!

Kamusta lahat mga tao! This week has been crazy so let's just get right into it!     Alright so Tuesday morning was pretty wild. I woke up and just was kind of sitting in my chair half half awake when I open my email. I saw and email that said " URGENT ", the email that  " these elders need to come to the mission home today after lunch, they will fly to Manila until Friday to get their fingerprints done for their Visas ". Or something to that extent. And below that message it named 7 elders who needed to go, it was my whole MTC district! I packed my little suit case and left for the mission home a couple hours later! I got on a bus for about an hour and a half and met up with the elders! We all stayed at a little hotel down the road that night since our flight wasn't till Wednesday.    Wednesday morning we all got breakfast at a little restaurant in the hotel and then the APs drove us to the airport! We got through security pretty easy and just bef...

Transfers Last Week!

Kamusta po lahat!? I hope you're all doing great! This week has been full of ups and some down too but over all was an awesome week.      Tuesday we were able to reach 3 or 4 lessons and find 4 new people. I'm especially happy about the findings since it was a family! We were able to teach as well as answer some questions they had about the church. They are super open to learning more. When we were leaving we asked when would be a good time for us to visit again, the mom got a little nervous, we asked if we could come this week she looked so relieved, she said she thought we wanted to visit every day or something hahaha she was very open to having us come back!      Wednesday was good and sad. We were able to teach probably 3 lessons which went well. When we got back to the apartment we looked at our phone and saw that the transfer list had been sent out. One of our ZL's got transferred, he was a stud and such a good missionary. I'm gunna...

What's up everyone! I hope ya'll are doing well. This week was good! A little bit of a slower one but still so rewarding as the work of the Lord always is. Even if getting up at 6:30 is way hard,  I'm making it through it though hahaha.     This week's email might be a little shorter since I don't have a ton of new updates.     Tuesday was good. We were able to teach 3 or 4 lessons and had a dinner a appointment with one of the members which was so nice I didn't have to cook hahaha since I really only know how to make like 3 things. I should've taken my mom up on those offers to teach me how to cook before I left for sure. But the crazy thing that happened after dinner was that we had an URGENT meeting with President Cobing (Our Mission President), it was with all of missionaries in the Cauayan mission so we knew it was something big. Anyways, the meeting was to announce that the Cauayan mission will be splitting into 2 mission...
