Trio Time

Happy monday everyone!! These past couple weeks have been full of great experiences as well as some times to take a look at how I am doing in my becoming a true disciple of Christ!     I'll put it into the least amount of words as possible so it's easier to get through.    About a week and a half ago I was transferred. I moved from Roxas Zone to Alicia Zone! I was sad to leave Elder Pilar but at the same time, we see each other every month anyways so it'll be alright. I love my new companions though..... yes, plural. Companions. I'm in a TRIO!! It's me, Elder Samson, and Elder Cutler!! Elder Samson and I are training which is so fun. It definetly doesn't feel like it though. Elder Cutler is a stud. He can teach super well and grinds the language. I'm glad I get to help him learn it as well. It definitely helps when a foreigner can explain a crazy language like Tagalog to another foreigner.     We're doing great though. As of right now...

We are baaaaack! What a week! We had a great time and also a couple hard times of course! Let's get into it. Highlights Went to Cauayan on Tuesday with the STL's on Tuesday for our Mission Leadership Council on Wednesday!  We set a mission baptismal goal for 2025 of 1068! I was tempted to doubt our abilities to achieve such a high number, but I was quickly reminded to root out all faithlessness. It isn't just anyones work we're doing here, it's God's. We're gathering His children! All things are possible with Him. I had exchanges with Elder Roberts on Friday! Learned a lot from him. He's such a positive Elder and is always looking to learn something from every situation, I love that about him. We connected on a different level for sure. I got to experience what could be my last baptismal service here in beloved Caliguian. I had a very good Sunday. The sacrament was great. I love being able to pray in the special time. I am trying to focus more on gratitu...

What a week! I hope everyone is doing well! In this email I'm going to share a little about my week and then a cool little realisation I had this week!    This past week I was able to go on exchanges with one of the Elders in our zone that is really having a rough time in their companionship. He's doing his best to be the good companion, district leader, and disciple of Christ that he can be, but he keeps having a hard time with his companion. On our exchages we had an amazing day. We taught by the spirit, found by the spirit, and felt the joy of sharing the gospel. Later that night as we were walking home, he said something I won't forget. He said " there really isn't anything more happy than sharing the gospel. I don't feel this happy doing anything else. This whole day with you I have felt this same joy. " I just wanted to hug this Elder. He has so many other things that could have been weighing him down, but he let the waves of joy that come come from ...
