Trio Time
Happy monday everyone!! These past couple weeks have been full of great experiences as well as some times to take a look at how I am doing in my becoming a true disciple of Christ!
I'll put it into the least amount of words as possible so it's easier to get through.
About a week and a half ago I was transferred. I moved from Roxas Zone to Alicia Zone! I was sad to leave Elder Pilar but at the same time, we see each other every month anyways so it'll be alright. I love my new companions though..... yes, plural. Companions. I'm in a TRIO!! It's me, Elder Samson, and Elder Cutler!! Elder Samson and I are training which is so fun. It definetly doesn't feel like it though. Elder Cutler is a stud. He can teach super well and grinds the language. I'm glad I get to help him learn it as well. It definitely helps when a foreigner can explain a crazy language like Tagalog to another foreigner.
We're doing great though. As of right now we are just working hard and starting up ministering in our Zone! I'm so grateful I get to be here with these wonderful people! What a great work this is!!
Spiritual Though
D&C 11:21
21 Seek not to declare my word, but first seek to obtain my word, and then shall your tongue be loosed; then, if you desire, you shall have my Spirit and my word, yea, the power of God unto the convincing of men.
To be honest, this answered my prayer big time this past week in my personal study. I prayed and asked what I needed to do to become a better teacher, and this was the first verse I read. It really is that simple. Feast upon the words of Christ and they will tell us all things that we should do. It's a promise of God. I've experienced this answering of my questions through the scriptures many times through the scriptures. I'm very grateful.
Peace
