Missionaries And Members

  Oy, Kamusta kayo!? Magandang hapon sa lahat! Sana naging maganda ang araw nyo ngayon! I hope your guys week went well and you were able to se the Lords hand in it. This was a learning week for me. Which I'm very grateful for. I'm grateful for the spiritual environment I'm in. It provides situations for me to grow in the Lord. Lets get into this week!

   Tuesday  

     Over all this past week was a filtering week for us. Less on finding and more on seeing where each of our friends are in their progress. To be honest, sometimes I get annoyed when people don't keep simple promises. Is it that hard to read 1 verse of scripture a day? Sometimes, that proves to be the case due to the multifarious concerns of each person. Tuesday was a day of filtering through these concerns. We have a friend named Mario. I love and see his desire to find the answers to his questions, but unfortunately, he isn't willing to do the work. I do appreciate the fact though, that we are definitely not going to be the last missionaries to teach him! He'll recieve this message soon!

    Wednesday

  Wednesday we went to the mission for Mission Leadership Council. We talked about how to set better, more accurate goals. This is were the title of my email comes in! President Cobing really emphasised on unifying missionaries goals, with member goals in there respective ward"s and branch's. As a missionary sometimes I feel like we try to impress the members in the branch by just grinding and working really hard. This is not as effective as.......... a Branch Mission Plan!! Or Warx Mission Plan is you're in a ward. This is what unites missionaries and members. We set our baptismal goals based on the needs and goals in the mission plan. Members and missionaries working together towards a singular goal is were the Lord works His magic!!

    Thursday

   We had District Council Meeting. We were able to grind out some lessons as well. Elder Pilar and I have been applying a very bold filtering method and it has been great in the sense of helping people understand our purpose as missionaries. By the 2nd or 3rd lesson, we extend baptism. It's been going very well!

    Friday

   A normal day of knocking doors and biking!! We had a great time. Also my companions parents came and visited him..... in our area. But hey, they texted him literally that same morning saying they were coming. He couldn't do anything about it. President Cobing approved as well. Kinda. He told us to use out best judgements but he could allow it. So a little weird when they came but we works still. Props to my companion though. He was locked in. 45 minute lunch and we got back to work!! 

    Saturday

   Inviting people to church and baptismal interview's!! I got to interview a girl who I interviewed last month!! She passed this time!! Shout out Rafaela! We then got back to our area and got back to inviting!! 

    Sunday

   What a day!! We were very blessed. We saw a lot of miracles! 10 of our friends came to church!! 7 of which are on date to be baptized in February! During Elders Quorum, they pulled out the general handbook and we read about how Elders Quorum classes aren't just about lessons. They are about Councilling about "relevent challenges, needs, and opportunities". I love it. We hit it head on and started talking about the needs of the members. The spirit was immediately present. After church we held a correlation meeting with the presidencies and it was so good! They were excited to help us with all of our friends!!

Spiritual thought

 Romans 2:13

 13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified

    This is a church of doing! We know that by the grace of God we are saved after everything we can do! Let us do all we can to center our lives on the light of the world. Jesus Christ. He is The Truth. We need to come to know Him. If we know Him, we know The Truth. This will set us free.

   Thanks for reading ya'll! I love Jesus Christ and wouldn't be here without his sacrifice. I love you guys too

Hey everyone!! Sorry for the slacking on my part with these emails haha. The weeks have been flying by. I'm almost at a year which is kinda wild . This emails going to be a little bit shorter though. Just some highlights! Highlights   - I healed from food poisoning  - We've been finding tons of new friends  - I got to do exchanges with a few Elders in our zone!! A Short One

Hey everyone!! Today's been a bit busy so I'm just going to give a little spiritual thought. Spiritual Thought  Helaman 14:31   31 He hath given unto you that ye might know good from evil, and he hath given unto you that ye might choose life or death; and ye can do good and be restored unto that which is good, or have that which is good restored unto you; or ye can do evil, and have that which is evil restored unto you.    I testify of the joy of daily restoration. Through repentance and the atonement of Jesus Christ, we can all choose to have the good restored unto us. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know He loves me. Mission Vaccination??

    Kamusta sa inyo lahat?? How are ya'll doing?! Thanks to all of you who sent me a "get better soon" email! It was awesome to feel the support from across the world for real. Thanks to your guys's prayers, i'm back to normal! Buuuut even though I'm all good again, don't hesitate to send me an email if your heart so desires. I love reading them no matter the content hahaha the more random, the better the laugh I get. So feel free!! Anyways, my past week was great but very fullll! Lets get into it!     Tuesday we had Zone Conference which was 2 hours away. We had to wake up at 5 in the morning and ride in a jeepny. I was still somewhat sick on tuesday so that ride killed me. At Zone Con I actually felt pretty decent, which was a tender mercy 100%. We got a ride home from the APs which was so fun. They are a wild couple o' Elders haha. But I do look up to them a ton.
