Tis The Season
Good morning ya'll!! Or afternoon, evening...... basically whenever you read if, I hope you're doing good. This past week was full of answers to prayers and opportunities of reassessment personally. I'm excited to share a couple highlights with you now!
This week started out with a rough Tuesday morning of pure puntings. Every lesson fell through and our findings were tough as well. We pushed as hard as we could and made the most if it. That afternoon we took a jeepney to Cauayan for MLC. Which is a big council meeting with all of the ZL's and STL's in the mission. We talk about how to help resolve mission wide problems and how best we can serve our stewards. Afterwards we practiced a dance that us zone leaders will be preforming in front of the whole mission.
After we got home pretty late Wednesday night so we just hit the sack right when we got in. One thing that we really applied was finding with faith. If we wanted to find the elect, we need to ask Heavenly Father to help us and put in the required effort. To make a long story short, through a seed of faith and divine guidance we were guided to the past vice mayor of the city we are serving in!!! He let us in with no hesitation and the lesson went great!! We've gone back two times and we are flying through the lessons with him! Tatay Alexander was prepared indeed!
Friday we got news that two of our friends were cleared by the First Presidency for baptism! They were interviewed on Saturday and will be baptized this coming Saturday!! God is blessing us deeply in this area.
Sunday was crazy!! We had so many awesome lessons with Tatay Alexander, Sister Mardel, and Brother Mario. They're all seeking the truth in their own way, and it is a blessing to be a part of it.
That's the week! Sorry it isn't as much info as usual. I'm low on time tonight kasi. Love you all dearly!
Scripture of the Week
John 16:33
33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world
In this the season of the Savior, we have a special opportunity to find and feel His peace, and be of good cheer. Let us always remember what happened that night in Bethlehem over 2000 years ago. I testify that our Lord Jesus Christ lives, I love Him, and I know He is our shepard.
Peace
Elder Baker
