Repentance And Restoration
Hey everyone!! This past week has been so busy but also so satisfying. I'm so grateful I have the opportunity to be a missionary. Let me just give you guys some highlights of this week!
HIGHLIGHTS
- We had exchanges with some Elders in our zone and I learned a lot from Elder Bunda
- Had interviews with President Cobing. I love talking with him. Talagang siya po ay tinawag po ng diyo
- Some of the Elders in our apartment got a referral call from another mission. It turned out to be Elder Barnett luckily I to talk to him for a bit!! It was super nice to talk to another Southern Albertan for real. Bro is killing the language already!!
- I have been able to see the progression of one of the Tatays we've been teaching. Tatay Edwin. He has truly been prepared for the gospel. Before we started one of our lessons with him I asked, is there anything specific he wanted to ask us before we started. He said yes and then asked " what is our purpose here on earth and where do we go after we die? "...........yeah. So cool right!? We took that question and ran with it. We are hopefully going to extend baptism for this August!!

Spiritual Thought
This we I studied quite a bit about the resurrection. In Alma 41:13 it talks about the restoration of our triats and habits from this like in the next. It made me think about how important repentance is. It give us the opportunity everyday to replace the bad, and restore the good. I love that so much, and I testify that it works.
13 O, my son, this is not the case; but the meaning of the word restoration is to bring back again evil for evil, or carnal for carnal, or devilish for devilish—good for that which is good; righteous for that which is righteous; just for that which is just; merciful for that which is merciful.
Thanks for taking the time to read these emails you guys!! I know that our Heavenly Father loves each of you so so much. Have a great week!
Peace
