Mission Vaccination??

Kamusta sa inyo lahat?? How are ya'll doing?! Thanks to all of you who sent me a "get better soon" email! It was awesome to feel the support from across the world for real. Thanks to your guys's prayers, i'm back to normal! Buuuut even though I'm all good again, don't hesitate to send me an email if your heart so desires. I love reading them no matter the content hahaha the more random, the better the laugh I get. So feel free!! Anyways, my past week was great but very fullll! Lets get into it!

Tuesday we had Zone Conference which was 2 hours away. We had to wake up at 5 in the morning and ride in a jeepny. I was still somewhat sick on tuesday so that ride killed me. At Zone Con I actually felt pretty decent, which was a tender mercy 100%. We got a ride home from the APs which was so fun. They are a wild couple o' Elders haha. But I do look up to them a ton. They are studs.

Wednesday was so awesome. We were applying some of the things we learned at Zone con. We found some awesome new people and taught some very spiritual lessons. At 7 we went to the church to watch the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square's concert!! They sang in manila and we got to watch the live stream. It was SO GOOD!! If any of you didn't watch it, I invite all of you to take some time today and watch it with your family. They are amazing.

Thursday we had our DCM which went really well. Both in the morning and after
We were able to teach a few lessons that went awesome! Later that night we started to get our stuff ready for Friday morning.

Fridayyyy! Friday was a jam-packed day! Today was our missions "Vaccination day". We all got this Japanese mosquito in Vaccine. Unfortunately we had to leave at 5 in the morning. Again. So very not fun. But when we got to the mission home it all went pretty smoothly. After everyone got their shot, we all went outside and got pictures. It was super nice to see my whole batch again.

Saturday was really cool actually. We had our whole day planned out and we felt really good about it. But as we were traveling to our area, we saw a "check stop". This is when the police stop everyone on the rode and asked to see your licenses. Lets just say we saw alot of cars flipping a U. Our tricy driver also didn’t have a license so we had to turn around too. We ended up going to a different area. But immediately we had a really awesome lesson with some new people we found. God works in mysterious ways! The rest of the day was good too. We had 3 more lessons.

Sundayyyy. Well Sundays are always awesome. We got to go to Church and take the sacrament which is always needed. Unfortunately none of our interested friends came to church but we have hope for next week! We did our weekly planning and really tried to find people that we felt like we need to focus on this week. The rest of the day went well.

     Scripture of the week

1 Nephi 6:4

4 For the fulness of mine intent is that I may persuade men to come unto the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, and be saved

I love this scripture. For me, this is Nephi explaining my purpose as a missionary. Although it is very challenging sometimes, remembering my purpose helps me feel the peace and love that comes from the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Thanks for all of the support you guys! Love ya'll so much. I hit my 7 months this week!! So wild. Anyways I'll send the pics in another email!! They aren't as cool this week. My bad. Ill be better this week!

Peace

Elder Baker
