A Short One

Whats up everyone!? I hope all of your weeks have been awesome full of daily scripture reading!! Kahit basit lang aldaw aldaw ( even if it's just a little every day ). I know it's east to forget sometimes with our busy lives but I also know of the peace and comfort the scriptures bring. Especially the Book of Mormon!

Okay so this week's email is gunna be alot shorter because I procrastinated writing it until tonight so I'm pretty tired. Let's get into it. I'm going to do a bulk summary of the week.

So this week we were able to teach 16 lessons! As I mentioned in last week's email, one of our ZLs went home. And since we don't have transfers until Thursday were in a trio with the other ZL, Elder Padilla. He's such a good missionary, I've already learned so much from him. We were able to work in both of our areas with kind of boosted our lessons but I'm counting them anyways.

We also had Zone interviews!! After 3 and a half months of no interviews we had virtual ones with President Cobing. I love talking with him, he's so optimistic and it rubs off on everyone. He asked me how my Tagalog is coming and I told him I could teach pretty well, it's just the small talk or BRT( Building Relationships of Trust ) that's harder for me. After I said this President said, " Ok Elder Baker, BRT me". And off we went. Over all it went pretty well! But he definitely was being a lil too nice when he said " wow Elder Baker you're doing great!" Hahahaha. It's all good though. President Cobing is a G.

    Scripture of the Week
Mormon 9:9

9 For do we not read that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and in him there is no variableness neither shadow of changing?

I testify that our Heavenly Father does not change. His love, mercy, compassion, and forgiveness, knows no end. From the beginning He has promised to provide us a way back to him. He later would show His love for us by sending His only begotten son, Jesus Christ. And through Him, would save the world from a debt that none of us could pay. The infinite atonement of Jesus Christ is a gift I will treasure every day of my life. I hope you will cherish it as well.

Aight ya'll, that's the end! That actually didn't end up being to short which good. Love you all so much! I hope you all know how much each of you mean to your Father in Heaven.

Until next week, pics in another email.

Peace

Elder Baker
