Training Almost Over!?

Yooooo what's up ya'll?!? I can't believe Christmas is almost here what the what?! So wild for real. Christmas is for sure my favorite time of the year. It'll be kinda interesting this year with no sugar bowl, no snow, and palm trees instead of Pine trees haha aight sorry let's get into my week.

Tuesday was a big preparation day for our Christmas Zone Conference. We showed up at the church at 10:30am and decorated for most of the day. We put up streamers, painted little trees white, made little fake presents, and hung Christmas lights. We ended leaving the the stake center at 10pm. But just before we left I was sitting by the doors and got talking to one of the kids that was leaving from a seminary class. He told me, he wasn't a member but he loves going to seminary. We got talking about his life and then all of a sudden he asked how he could become a missionary! It was out of no where! I explained about how to start his covenant journey through baptism and the Priesthood. It was so cool! After that we all finally left after 10 hours. We were all so dead. But Zone con was the next day so we were excited too. But obviously we don't get to sleep in out here so we just got to bed as soon as we got home. Those 8 hours feel like 3 some time hahaha.

Wednesday was Zone conference! We showed up at the stake center at 8am. We had 5 zones there so it was so awesome. I got to see a few elders from my MTC District which was so nice! I was able to give a little talk/spiritual thought to open the conference. I talked about the scripture Moroni 7:33. Go check it out! The conference went really well. It was kind of just a party hahaha. There was just a bunch of games and performances from each district. We got to have lunch there. So gooood. It's always nice when we don't have to pay for food hahaha. After the Zone con ended our district cleaned up and we went home around 5. Me and my comp were absolutely dead so we just wanted to take a quick "power nap" haha yeah no. Didn't happen. I woke up at 10:24pm, it was bad. Definitely not my plan hahaha.

Wednesday was a little rough I'm not gunna lie. After 3 days of very little actual missionary work we had to work a hit harder to get back into our routine. We got going though. We 2 really good lessons that day which was so good.

Thursday was tooouuugh. We had an awesome afternoon planned with 5 lessons set up! Buuut when we showed up none of them were home. Like what the heeeeck! So unfortunate. It happens sometimes though.

On Friday we had some really good lessons! Nothing too crazy. Just alot of walking of course. Really good though. The Spirit was there the whole day!

Saturday we got to do alot of inviting to church! We walked alot and knocked alot of houses! We also walked through a rice field which was super cool!

Sunday was so good of course. We went to church and sadly none of the people that we invited came, expected. But still sad. We Did have a little miracle though! Since it was Sunday we didn't want to spend money on travel since we had time to walk. My comp asked what we were going to do on the way home. I said " I know that the Lord will provide a way for us to get home since we are keeping the sabath day holy." I didn't know if I could actually promise that but I did, because I really fo believe it. The Lord will bless us for putting him first. On our way back from one of our farthest appointments we realized we had a ward birthday party to get to and it had already started. We got to the highway and stuck our thumbs out. We stood there for 10 minutes and no one pulled over. Just when we were going to pay for a tricy. A truck pulled over and gave us a ride!! So crazy! The Lord loves his children and I testify of that.

  Scripture of the Week

Alma 37:36-37
36 Yea, and cry unto God for all thy support; yea, let all thy doings be unto the Lord, and whithersoever thou goest let it be in the Lord; yea, let all thy thoughts be directed unto the Lord; yea, let the affections of thy heart be placed upon the Lord forever.

37 Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day.

This is something I've been trying to live by everyday. Counseling with the Lord in everything that I do is so important. But it's not just important for me. This is counsel for all of us. "Lie down unto the Lord". Do everything you can do, then put it in the His hands and everything will be okay.

Any ways that was my week ya'll! Sorry again for the long email.  Pictures in a different one! Love Ya'll!

Peace
