Kamusta po kayo!!

This last week has felt pretty long but it's been full of amazing experiences. Every Tuesday evening we get to have a devotional from either a member of the area seventy or a member of the twelve apostles! Last week was Elder Stevenson of the Twelve and it was so cool. The spirit so strong as he spoke to us about gaining a personal testimony of Preach My Gospel in our studies. One thing I wrote down while he was talking was " We have Preach My Gospel so we can preach His (Jesus's) Gospel ". It was cool to go over my notes from after the devo and see all of the little things I was prompted to write down. Last Tuesday was a testimony to me that the spirit does guide and prompt us.

As for the rest of the week, it was more of just learning the language and studying the scriptures. I've learned to appreciate more the time I can spend in the Book of Mormon every day. My personal study has gotten more intentional and meaningful as I take notes and go into it with a question.
I'm just going to share one scripture from one of the studies this week that I really liked.

2 Nephi 31:3
For my soul delighteth in plainness; for after this manner doth the Lord God work among the children of men. For the Lord God giveth light unto the understanding; for he speaketh unto men according to their language, unto their understanding
